Vereda Campo Hermoso

This painting shows a part of Florencia Caquetá, and over there… that is Campo Hermoso, a small village.

To tell you the truth, I did not paint civilians. They never came out when we were in the village.

I painted black huts which were inhabited by displaced people.

While working on this painting, I remembered many things that happened to me. Things sort of came back to mind and brought out all that pain I carry inside… It’s hard to carry this deep bloody pain.
