Ex-combatant of the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia-AUC. He joined at 16 years old and remained there for a year and a half.
This happened in the lower Cauca. We received information that there were some guerrilla members in a house. It took us around two or three days to get there.
There was only a woman and five guerrilla members. They were cooking dinner. The sun was already coming down, it was getting cloudy. It was around six in the afternoon. I remember the waterfall.
We pulled out the M-601 and blasted them… I was very taken with a guerrilla girl, when we went down and saw her, because the “Mencha” (machine gun) blasted her and tore her to pieces… I was very sorry. It was a girl who was 15 or 16 years old.
